Emanuele Grandi's moving #poem dedicated to our four-legged friends.

"If you are afraid of having given me few caresses, you should know that I have not forgotten even one.

If you regret having scolded me even once, you should know that I don't even remember it.

If you think you've left me alone for too long, you should know that I've always been waiting for you.

If you are afraid of having spent little time with me, you should know that I, even that little, have enjoyed every moment.

If you think you've played little with me, you should know that I've never counted the times you threw the ball at me.

If you think I've forgotten about your perfume, you should know that even now I'm smelling it in the wind.

If you wanted to be reborn in another life, you should know that I would like to be your puppy in that one too.

If you are convinced that you have some flaws, you should know that for me you have been the perfect one.

If you believe that love can have an end, you should know that in my heart the place of love is infinite.

If you think you have regrets about me, you should know that I would not change a single second of the life I have spent with you.

If you think I no longer hear your voice when you call me, just entrust the sunset breeze with the task of bringing me your words.

If you think I can forget your face, you should know that I wanted to live alone to enjoy your look.

If you think I could have loved someone more than you, you should know that I have loved you more than myself.

If you think I would like a soft sofa, know that with you I would also have slept on the stones.

If you think I wanted more than you gave me, you should know that I've always felt

like the happiest puppy in the world.

If you have ever felt alone, you should know that I have never left my place next to you.

If you think my life has been short, you should know that I wouldn't have wanted to live a minute longer if I hadn't spent it by your side.

If you are afraid that I am no longer near you, know that as soon as you close your eyes I will fall asleep next to you.

If you think you have not made the right decision, you should know that I have always trusted you.

Always.” ❤️🐾

New Release September 17th!

THE VOW is coming out in two days! So excited for the release of my new women's fiction! This is an emotional story of love, betrayal, heartbreak, and about moving forward after a marriage collapses.

Here's a small excerpt from the book...

After twenty years of marriage, everything began to fray like a rip in your favorite pair of jeans.

I've made a command decision that it's time to move on. Time to stop living my life for everyone else and start living it for me. Find the man I used to be.

I need to be free.

With Jillian working so much, I've gotten used to her not being around. Old routines soon get replaced with new ones. Like going out with the guys more. Meeting new people.

Meeting new women.

Then I met Mari.

Mari is the new nurse--a transfer from the ICU--who works in the emergency room at the hospital in town. My ambulance routinely transports patients there.

The first day I met her, our eyes connected over the patient lying flat on the gurney my crew brought into the ER. It was such a serious situation with a dying patient before us, yet there was a flirtatious air about her and the heat spilling forth from her eyes sent a far different message.

The message shot straight to my groin.

Mari is an incredibly beautiful, sexy woman. The attraction to her was instant and took me by surprise. The pull I felt toward her overwhelmed me.

Lust consumed me.

Thoughts of my marriage went out the door.

It was all I could do to tamp down the growing erection in my turnouts. I'm working for fuck's sake. I knew then I had to get out of the hospital as fast as possible before I embarrassed myself.

For the next few weeks transporting patients to the hospital became the highlight of my day. Staying away from the hospital became impossible.

Was it wrong of me to want people to have heart attacks or be involved in car accidents just so I could go to the ER and see her?

I found I enjoyed being around Mari. She's sassy, fierce, and so, so very hot.

The guys in my crew knew something was up. They noticed how long it took me to finish paperwork after we'd transport. I'd draw it out as much as I could just to talk to her.

Being unfaithful was something I'd never planned. But it was a decision. A choice. My choice. It happened and I don't have any regrets.

I'm careful not to leave any texts on my phone. Mari's phone number is disguised as an auto repair shop. Jillian would never guess I'm sending steamy text messages to a gorgeous brunette. As smart as Jillian is, she's so fucking clueless.

My wife suspects nothing. She's mentioned a few times my distraction and distance. Other than that she hasn't said a word.

It kills me to do this to my wife. She is the most caring and kindhearted person I know.

I'm an asshole. That much is true.

THE VOW A new release!

The Vow is available for preorder digitally. Release date is September 17th. Paperback to follow.

The Vow is an emotional novel about love, betrayal, heartbreak, and moving forward after a marriage collapses.

Dr. Jillian Scott's life seems perfect. She's a successful pediatrician and is married to Derek, a charming firefighter hero. If the outside world knew the truth, they wouldn't be so envious.

Derek Scott is done with his broken marriage. He blindsides his wife and wants a divorce. A horrific accident threatens his plans, leaving him with nothing but time to dwell on the breakdown of his marriage and reevaluate his life and what matters to him the most.

Dr. Mac Wilder reaches out and offers support. Jillian's friendship with Mac strengthens and sets the three of them on a collision course, leaving Derek wondering if Mac doesn't have an ulterior motive of his own.

Jillian is caught in the crosswinds of life, torn between the past and the future. And knowing it is up to her to rescue herself from her life spiraling out of control.

Will it take nearly losing his wife for Derek to take responsibility for his actions when he realizes he can't live without her?

Hello!

 Welcome to my blog.

This is a new venture for me...blogging. Normally I write novels. I'll share my novels with you and let you know what I'm writing. And I'll let you know when I have them on sale also. Because we all love a good deal, am I right?

I'll let you know what I'm reading. If I love a book I'll shout it from the rooftops. I won't tell you what I don't care for because not every novel is everyone's cup of tea. I want to hear what you're reading. Do you read thrillers? Romance? Paranormal? I love it when someone shares a book they loved so I can read it, too.

I'm slightly technologically challenged so bear with me if this page isn't at its best. It's a work in progress and I'm still learning.

I've listed on my books page all the books I've written. They are all available on Amazon. Some in kindle unlimited, some not. Several are wide and are listed on Apple, Google, Kobo, and Barnes & Noble.

Let's have some fun!
